Multiplayer question

Newbie Question:
If I am running Civ Gold on Mac, Can I play multiplayers I know who use the windows 98 edition (so far as I know, this is not possible for alpha centauri)

Yes.Completely compatible with PC players.You need patch 1.1.1 though.
