Multiple Monitor Issue

My system has four monitors, but of course I only play the game on the main display. Problem is if I'm in a game it runs fine, but if I move to another monitor to check my mail or do something else when I come back to the game it becomes as if I'm running it on a 386 with 2 MB of ram.

I locked the mouse to the screen so when I want to go to another monitor I have to hit the windows button first. Not sure if that has anything to do with it because I didn't try without locking the mouse.

Any suggestions?

I looked but do not have a multi setup, however I found that doing anything while the game is running outside of the game like checking E-mail can cause a crash. Myself if I need to check my mail when playing I go to my phone.
