I chose the first option, but to be more accurate I'd have lots of concubines - not wives. There is quite a difference! I don't see how you could have LOTS of wives, because you'd have to maintain a close relationship with all of them at the same time. No thanks! Now, concubines, there's not much to having lots of them...

To repeat: Why are the Muslims excepted? Is it because they have allowed polygamy historicially?

If so, you should allow everyone else to do so, since it has be the more prevailent form of marriage in the world, historicially.

Wouldn't "wife/husband" be sexist, since inidicates that women are second-class citizens, thus having to play second fiddle to the men? How about "spouse" or "semi-permanent co-inhabitants"?
