IIRC a wise man once said that if you are about to have more than one wife, then make it at least three. The reason for this was that two women can gang up against you but three women (or more) will spend all their energy with internal conflicts.

If I met the right women, why not.
This is a personal matter and therefore should never have any governmental (or religious) rulings. If 3 people love eachother, why should they not be allowed to make it official ??

or 4, or 5 for that matter.

I'll have more that one wife if I love all of them and if and only if all of them loved each other as well.
It's really hard to get past 2 with this rule.
So I'm really happy with one.

I think one would be enough trouble. Although if it was back in the day when women were subservient to men, I could see an advantage in multiple wives (not that I'm advocating such a move.)

I find that one spouse is the perfect number for me (and, for her).

However, if others want to go multiple, I have no problems with it - in fact I would imagine that bringing up a child in a home with one or more stay-at-home parents and multiple wage earners would be much better all around.

I don’t agree with the one man and one women policy in the west. If I could get married multiple times I would go for it. But unfortunately I don’t have the time to take care of all those wives.

how do i apply for a french citizenship ??

but frankly speaking, if i expect my wife to be faithful to me, then i will be faithful to my wife, this is the basis for a monogamy. and not to mention the 1: 1 ratio.
