Murder of British MP Jo Cox -- will it decide the Brexit referendum?

Well, Farage is the product of Franco-German breeding, who made his money on the stock markets, made his name in Europe and then married a German...

So aparently in a Westboro Baptist church styleee, Brexit hires planes to troll Jo Cox memorial.

Really? WTH?

Brendan Cox doesn't have a monopoly on London's airspace, especially not as a campaign is on its last day. What would you want, suppress on of the sides of the campaign because someone might be offended?

This is a cheap shot at getting some sympathy over an absurd "offense".

^Indeed.
Trafalgar square is in the epicenter of London. It would make zero sense for the plane not to fly above it, particularly in the final day before voting.

I would call it distasteful. Sort of like the Westboro nuts, who seem to have no clue about decency.

But, and correct me if I'm wrong, it sounded like the people organising the flight did so, and got a fixed time slot and area to fly in, without knowing when or where the memorial service would be held?

It does sound like a very unfortunate coincidence, but nothing malicious.

I suppose they could have called it off, but yes, it does seem like a terrible coincidence rather than deliberate malice.

I have honestly struggled to understand how this murder could affect anyone's vote either way. If it could affect your vote then you must surely have only ever had the most nebulous of motivations for what you were going to vote for anyway. How can the murder of one person by one nutjob possibly have any relevance on the future of a nation and a continent, regardless of the political leanings of either party?

^Not seeing it as something being worth (beyond a platitude) to be termed even a 'coincidence', tbh. Trafalgar square is a tiny area in the absolute center of London. Ofcourse a plane with an ad for the vote would be seen above it many times one day prior to the election.

One shouldn't condone false accusations; that is for the lame media to do. There are plenty legitimate accusations to hurl against both sides of the debate, i mean just look what people are heading those (Cameron? Boris? :vomit: )

That would probably describe a good chunk of the electorate, especially the uninformed sections. It's also the only charitable way to explain much of the hysteria regarding the campaign.
