Music of Civ VI

How can I access the music files from the Steam folder thing again? It's kinda difficult finding them the last time I tried.

Steam>Steamapps>common>Sid Meier's Civilization VI>Base>Platforms>Windows>audio

The music is in wem files. You have to figure out how to convert them.

I finally finished listening both. Great peaces of music! I really enjoyed listening both Indonesia and Khmer themes - all of their eras sound great!

I believe people found that Civ 6's is based on Rejang Dewa, while Civ 5's is based on Udan Mas.

Nah, believe me, its a different one.The base melody for gamelan just tends to sounded the same I guess since it used the same instrument.

Udan Mas is part of the Indonesia secondary music, just not as the basis of the main themes.

After hearing Indonesia's music, they are using Bapang Selisir and Rejang Dewa.
It's nice and very exciting to hear the same songs I performed with my Balinese gamelan group. Geoff Knorr did a really great job with combining two different songs into one. He also did great with Khmer theme.

Yeah same, Khmer's is more "fun" and reminds me of Nubia and Macedon, whereas Indonesia's is so grand and majestic.

Both Khmer and Indonesia have such awesome music that I can't decide which is better.

The Atomic-era Indonesia music was what I expected, pure amazing. The same can be said about Atomic-era Khmer.

I think I like Indonesia's better--more melodious. But both are strong.

Any other background ambient music stand out as exceptional? (Like that one Kongo song?)
