I wonder if you can switch the music so you can play your favorite songs in the anceint ages, so you dont have to liten to that stupid music over and over I wonder if you can put in your favorite songs, and re-name them to the default names in the civ3/sound folder...ill have to give it a try

Yes, you can do that and it'll work fine.

Or, you can also disable the game's music, open up Winamp (if you have it), or any other MP3 player and listen to any MP3's you want.

Since the CD is only needed to load the game, you can also remove the game CD from your player and pop in your favorite music CD.

We had a little fun in the office and modified one of our co-workers PC's to have the theme from 'Top Gun' (Highway to the Danger Zone) as the intro and loaded a lot of Jewel and DMB in for the other music as he hates those artists.

At least we got a good laugh out of it.
