My easiest win by far... Arabs w/ Economy...

Started out the game with few artifacts, and settled 2 extra cities.

Researched enough science to get my Market/Bank.

Researched culture, took over 2 other cities.

Kept massing gold, kept getting achievements that helped.

At the end of the game, I had like 6 cities, and I rushed riflemen every round to defend against 3 attackers (Mongols/Spanish/Chinese). Riflemen Army is disposal, takes 1 round, and I got all the money in the world. Last 3-4 rounds, I lost about 5-6 Armies each round. It was all good because I was making 1,150 gold per round and I had roads built to every city. Move the disposable armies to attacked cities, waste the round, while still getting tons of gold.

Chinese want 6,000 gold for peace? No problem. Give it to them.

This was far the easiest game I've had, and I lost my first 7 games...

Going to try culture next.

I love making at least one or Two Cities that are Economic Machines.
I had one producing 700to 800 gold every turn, 1 City.

700 Gold for 1 city... is just disgusting. A lot of population?

Most gold I've had so far was going for the Single City achievement with Greeks. Was producing $1400 gold or something like 1200 science per turn, so I switched back and forth between the two as needed.

I just got 2,200 gold in 1 city last night with the Frenchies... This game is becoming easier... time to up the difficulty
