You should thank whoever that person was. Not only did you get plus pc, you also figured the topic was worth a whole new thread. Clearly, as illustrated here, the differentiation between newbie and n00b had not been apparent to all. As a bonus you got to distance yourself from the n00b label which you feel had been wrongly pinned to your backside in spite of your recent start date. It certainly was insensitive.

For my self, it's always nice to be educated in the sublties of intenet speak.
