We can change the world for the better, and ask you join us to do so. We currently do not have any candidates who will run for president or vice-president in the next election, that could be you!

We talked about this. Our Economic stance is VASTLY different, our Social Welfare is as well. We can work together on Energy and Space, my Education reforms clash with your federalist platform, and you haven't assured me my civil liberties agenda is acceptable.
 
The Federalist Party believes that a strong economy makes for a strong America. We also believe that a free economy equals a strong economy. Therefore, we are strong supporters of a liberalized, free-trade policy and above all, restricted federal spending. The Federalist Party is a staunch advocate of laissez-faire economics, and we believe the only way for America to prosper economically is to remove the restraints and burdens of a cumbersome government. To that end, we believe that keeping low <a href="http://forums.civfanatics.com/archive/taxes">taxes</a> upon the majority of Americans and American businesses is essential, but we also believe that low <a href="http://forums.civfanatics.com/archive/taxes">taxes</a> can only be maintained with limited government spending. The Federalist Party wishes to leave a strong America for the future, not one riddled with <a href="http://forums.civfanatics.com/archive/debt">debt</a>.

It's the same damn thing. Except yours has more rhetoric, and less policy. Unless your idea of economic "Liberty" doesn't involve liberty at all.

Vast diffence would be comparing yourself to the Patriots, not to me.

Please clarify your position on the following issues:
1. Are you against gun control?
2. Are you in favor of free speech?
3. Are you in favor of the right to privacy?
4. Are you somewhat in favor of strong healthcare and education?
5. Are you in favor of modern energy sources?

These are possibly the most important issues to me as a left-leaning independent.

The same questions may be addressed to the Federalist Party, which I am also considering.

El nitpick: There's only 1 Representative from Vermont, and 2 from New Hampshire. Electoral votes are the sum of a state's Representatives and Senators, so a state has 2 less Representatives than electoral votes.

The press secretary of the new President Harry Wilmington appears on national news briefely to indicate that Wilmington believes, "There is no case against me. Accusations have been made, but only falsely, and I have no doubt in my mind that I shall be able to fend off these with fairly little trouble." He also indicated that he was brooding over a major decision that should come to light in the very near future.
 
Who will the new President propose as his vice-president?

Also, all of this in-fighting isn't going to help us. The conservatives have an essentially unified party in the American Patriot Party. Non-APPs should really try to assemble into a coherent mass, or else we're never going to accomplish anything.

It was our bi-partisan system that killed us before. Now there are the American Patriots, the Republicans, the Democrats, the Federalists, the National Progressive Party, and the New World Pary.

I disagree. The two-party system, though flawed, has helped the United States accomplish many things without the problematic wheeling-and-dealing and in-fighting of multi-party systems.

I officially announce that I will not join any party for the remainder of my term.
