Observed: if battle animation and 'show our manual moves' are off one cannot see the battle.
Reproduce: turn 'show battle animations' and 'show our manual moves' both off
Result: as opposed to PTW and vanilla Civ3, one cannot now speed the battle up and still observe the damage one does to the AI unit.
