Napoleonic Europe Crash

First off, if this has already been answered somewhere else, my bad. I've searched and found problems similar to mine, but they were all for PTW. If my question has been answered for C3C, I'd appreciate it if someone directed me to the answer.

Anyway, I started the Napoleonic Europe scenario, and played as the Russkies. I did well, and at scenario end, I was in first place. I end the final turn, and the victory screens come up, but after the last one, the game crashed. I tried again, with the same results. Anyone have an idea why?

Note that this is (obviously) C3C, and I have Windows Vista. Strangely, when I lose the scenario (as I did with Spain), the crash doesn't occur. Any advice on how to fix the crash would be greatly appreciated.

Although my issue was with PTW, maybe one of the things mentioned will work for you. Try loading the High Scores screen from the main menu, making sure the folder is not read-only, etc.
