Napoleonica: Powder Smoke over Europe

I mean, i hoped to have them named in the thread, without the need to download and open each pack and look in each sub-folder what unit have the folder name.

Some of the opposite, in fact : What unit is represented by each of the pictures.
I'm not a specialist of the era myself.

Um, the thread is called "Napoleonica: Powder Smoke over Europe " and would be correctly taken by most as "being of the period of Napoleon", ca.1800 -1815 CE/AD. In Europe. Big Time events.

And all the lovely pictures on the first page of the thread depict the national uniforms of, the, well, nation or thereabouts. (If you want to get nit-picky for instance, "nation" and "state" are not the same, and whether or not either of these directly correlate to a Civ" is a matter of some debate.)

Yes, to correlate picture uniforms/unit requires checking each nation's folders; nevertheless there should be some consistancy.

Sandris, I have noticed a few bugs in these nevertheless great units:
-1812 Polish Hussard seems to have 1 Frame blank (or pink should I say) in AttackA.flc (SE direction), making the unit disappear for half a second.
-All of your infantry units seem to do some funky stuff in the victory anim, when going back to default. Their muskets seem to fly around a bit, and the pose they go back to may not be the default pose.

These units' pedia icons have a pink background:

1812 Prussian Dragoon

Here are the PCX's... I've tested them in-game and they all show good, all backgrounds show white now No other colour issues with them. :)

Thanks again Tom! They are ok now.
Sandris, could you put the link to the corrected pediaicons on the first page ? That would be useful for people who download your units, they wouldn't have to look for this page ;)

Hi Sandris,

I finally used these to mod the Napoleonic Europe conquest, and I now have a request. Is it possible to remake the British Scots Greys trooper on a white horse? There was only one regiment that dressed like this and they all rode white horses, all the time, hence the name. "Grey" is a horse colour, describing horses coloured from true grey into the white range. In this case, the regiment only rode the white end of the scale, although their trumpeters rode on greyer mounts.

Sorry for the bump, but it's not that old of a thread!

Cheers!

PS - Love all your units!

Good remark! I was focused on the uniforms, and didn't check the horses. You are perfectly right, the Scots Grey shouldn't mount brown horses.

The Horse Guard should also mount black horses then.
