Fanatica (the base word for alterations) works well on its own, imho.

    :ack: "huh huh.... He said....."

My apologies for the implied vulgarity, but let's add an "I" to Fanaticum so we don't become an unwitting punchline for CivButtheads everywhere.

Fanaticium [fan a TEE see um]

I like Fanaticium or Fanaticum. I don't like Fanatica because that name has been used by the Civ 2 DG.

The Glorious Empire of Fanaticum sounds good.

But, we could aso use Byzantine. Fyzantine, Fanatine, Fanatzyne.

I see CT has already named her prehistoric news network Fanaticum. Is this a sign? Are we Fanaticum?

Oh, goody. Now we can all be Fanatic Cummers...

Fanaticum just doesn't sit right with me. I support Fanaticus I think it sounds just as roman and less embarassing.

Yeah, that name is just wrong...

I still think, though, that the simple Fanatica is good enough.

Ya, why is there such opposition to a name like one we used before? obviously we liked it the first time. I still think it is the best choice (Fanatica, it sounds like a real name to me) but since it seems there are many objections to a 'used' name it looks like it won't succeed.

Now that I think about it, Fanaticum does sound pretty wrong. Fanaticium or Fanaticae still sounds good.
