• Updated for full compatibility with VP 5.1.
• The Yamato has been replaced by the Mikasa, classified as a pre-dreadnought , available with the Electricity technology.
• Added a new feature: Shoals
  
  • -1 Food and movement cost 3 (similar to Marsh tiles).
  • Improvements can be constructed on Shoals.
  • Significantly affects naval movement, particularly for units that can navigate the ocean, including Capital Ships and Submarines (which also suffer a combat penalty when on Shoals).

curious which model are you using for this? the built-in 'ford'?

Navigation School national wonder.(Steam Power)

why not navigation tech? if only to align the naming...

can we coordinate efforts on these two components? MB+ has a movement-focused NW at steam power (maritime academy); if you moved navigation school to navigation, we'd at least not have 2 NWs doubled up on the same tech; i'm less concerned about them being close in the tech tree than i am with both on same tech. In return i'll add support for your shoal to MW+ so the storm can traverse it -- as-is i think storm will treat shoal as ineligible for storm (if anyone is playing with both this mod and mw+ and can comment, pls reply)

okay great i'll get another mw+ revision out by next weekend -- between yours and my mods we have some significant depth to naval game i think
