@tuxedohamm, that’s cool, reminds me of classic old games! I managed to DL it on my modem, but I presume an MP3 would be even smaller file. I like the section towards the end But is it supposed to cut out at 31 seconds, or is my file corrupted? How did you make it? Do you have options for file formats?

I've had a go with ModTracker in the past, which lets you save things as .MOD, .XM etc as well as .MP3.

Somehow I always imagined the COBRA anthem in this game as being the epic Overture/Main Menu track from Hears of Iron 2

It cuts out that quickly because I haven't figured the program out completely and one frame maxed out at 256 moments in time. There is a way to add a frame but when I did it just copied the first and then when I edited it, it seemed to change the first part AND the second part. I was in a rush to get something up before I drove home from my parents so I just went with what I had.

.wav and .nsf (Which I believe play on a NES/Famicon emulator).

I would have converted to an mp3, but again, time was an issue to get it uploaded and I didn't have a sound file converter available at the time.

ALSO, I detect a slight loss of interest from certain players. I've lost some interest too, but on the plus side it means I'm not adding so much new stuff each turn.

I have some ideas/options for ending the game:

OPTION A: Continue indefinitely!

OPTION B: Declare a winner within 10 turns. The conditions being any single team/faction receiving an income of $16 or more from one turn, or whoever has most income in 10 turns time. Other players can either pursue an alliance for a shared victory (and hopefully a place in the new order), or to gang up and try to prevent it happening etc.

OPTION C: As above, but maximum time limit is 5 turns.

OPTION D: As above the above, but maximum time limit is only 3 turns.

OPTION ™?: I'm open to ideas/suggestions

@Thlayli, I'd like to wait longer but I'm guessing you're not able to send orders at any stage. I understand you are suffering from something called 'real life' that quite a few people seem to suffer from. I am fortunately immune to this

Perhaps Tuxedohamm could be given temporary control over COBRA proper?

@Abaddon, that would certainly help bring things to an end, but I think its unfair (and unrealistic, for whatever that matters here ) for armies to completely dissapear if orders are missed.

The arrival of new players should be balanced out by reinforcements to others, though yes that has got screwed up in the past. I'm thinking of reducing the starting $$$ for new players.

@Charles, I dunno about that, I already have the rules saying that troops travelling with the APC can fire from inside.

Im not sure modern IFV/AFV have room for a big gun like a tank.

I guess we could have an AFV that transports one trooper unit and has generalist weapons, like a buffed up Armored Car from this game.
