I think this would be confusing enough for the imaginary people in Soldia. I don't expect players to keep tabs on everything!
I was my
intention to have extra things that you could get involved with, for potential benefits and hazards, or otherwise ignore them. That is still kinda the case, maybe, I hope… Apart from the huge alien invasion attacking certain people
Whatever Red says, I can definitely say the aliens are a result of a series of unnamed player actions
I can say there were/are 3 'pylons' as Matt0088 calls them. Aqua never had one.
And the foreign intervention was my attempt to balance out Space Pirat, although that went wrong when SP changed sides (as it was entitled to do) and then left (as it was entitled to do).
@Symph, I feel I may have been a little over apologetic the other day - its worth pointing out that you chose to join as a special outside faction with $20 of units and special abilities and special graphics. If I'd been keeping things simple as you advocated, then maybe I should've prevented you from joining earlier… I wanted to get that off my chest. /rant.

We thankyou for transferring these documents. We find them compelling, and disturbing.
However, we hope you understand our reluctance to effectively declare war on half of Soldia, with its battle-hardened armed forces, in addition to the Alien threat. Not to mention that we still believe the SEF to be honest in their intentions to promote democracy in Soldia, a cause that many of our people sympathise with, though our government has always sought a middle ground in such things.
We are in discussions, both internally and with our neighbours. We can make no firm promises at this time. But we can say that our previous proposal is now dead in the water.
We recognize that COBRA has done more than any other faction to combat the Aliens, as well as restore order, and that COBRA must form the backbone of any future Soldian state.

Regarding your message as to the situation in sector C9, we find it hard to believe that there can be yet another sinister threat to deal with, but we are assured that forces of the JTLU will keep an especially close eye on the borders in that region. We are ready to assist with our airforce and airborne soldiers if the situation is not contained.
As to the True Believer faction, it seems they have been all but crushed, but in any case we do not regard them as necessarily hostile at this time.
