The only evidence that supports this is the following...

As of a few weeks ago, the most common alien "grunt", as we like to call them, looked like this.

Now, after four weeks (2 turns) of your force fielded units', or 2 weeks (1 turn) of its proximity to the alien mothership, the "grunts" changed...growing more tentacles, and its color's tone changed so that it now appears to be more dull. This picture is of said transformed "grunt".

Now, since no visual change has happened before the alien's contact with the pylons (artifacts...pink pyramids with purple orbs inside), we have made the hypothesis that they are the source of the change, and no other plausible reason has arisen from our research (yes, we are researching, and have been doing so with the help of the Mystics since before you even dedicated any troops to fighting the aliens).

All images were taken from basic radar systems which are standard issue to all militaries, countries, etc (aka, the map).

We would also like to re-state my wish for a ceasefire. We both have bigger fish to fry, and you will see what I mean in a few seconds...

I hope there wasn't confusion over the deadline... I meant midnight Monday, as in between Monday and Tuesday... But anyway thanks for the orders!

We wish for the SEF to clarify their statement on 'our species'. Recent media reports have claimed that the SEF leadership is deluded into believing that they are squirrels.

Interesting, to say the least.

On that point, I should repeat that all in-game soldiers and commanders are expected to be humans. You can have non-humans (squirrels? penguins? pandas?) controlling things from a distance via mind control or whatever if you want, but not actually present in the warzone (yes I am the only one allowed to control aliens )

I'm happy with SEF having some kind of strange affinity with the native wildlife, but from the Soldian perspective they are still supposed to be a human faction.
