I am a huge admirer of some of the mods on here, and in my short time here have had many ideas for mods I would love to see. Unfortunately, although I am good at planning said mods, my modding skills are truly awful, I really have no idea what I'm doing. So, in order to carry out my master plan, I am looking for someone able to mod for me. Anyway, without any further ado, here is my idea.
Fallout Mod. - Overview.
I am a huge fan of the fallout series, and would love to see a civ 5 mod based off of the fallout universe, a Scenario to be more precise. I think that New Vegas is probably best for this, what with its many different competing factions, so I would love to see this done. It would be based around the war between the NCR and Caesars Legion, with Mr. House and the Brotherhood of Steel hopefully being smaller civs. The Boomers/Khans/Powder gangers etc. would probably be city states. I know this is ambitious, so if I'm totally insane, just say, but if you don't mind, help me out! :L
Fallout Mod - Civs.
Caesars Legion.
UU: Centurion
UB: Arena - 15xp for Units.
Trait: 'For the Legion' - Units fight at full strength when damaged (Basically Bushido)
Caesars legion would control a small amount of land east of the Colorado river. (coast tiles, not river) They would start with a large amount of troops (Modified Legions from Rome civ?) and a great general, Legate Lanius. Despised by every civ and most city states barring the Khans, their diplomatic situation is the legions biggest handicap.
The NCR.
Trait: 'Western Diplomacy' - City-State Influence degrades at half and recovers at twice the normal rate. (Hellenic League)
UU: Desert Ranger
The NCR would begin the game in by far the best situation, they control almost the entire map and have large numbers of troops stationed throughout the map. Relations with city states are generally good except larger, more powerful groups like the boomers and khans. Despite this, they will have a difficult time as they will face enemies constantly attacking their territory, the BoS, House and the Legion.
Mr. House.
Trait: Undecided, Probably Money based.
UU: Securitron
Mr House faction controls the smallest amount of territory, a small parcel of land around the largest city on the map - New Vegas. although small, New Vegas is such a large city that it gives house just as much power as the NCR's many cities combined. He will have an enormous amount of money and a small army of Securitrons.
Brotherhood of Steel.
Trait: 'Professional Military' - All Units gain more xp from combat.
UU: Paladin.
The brotherhood start in a poor position, the smallest army, economy and only one city - Hidden Valley. However, the Paladin is, although expensive, the most powerful unit in the game, and due to it being a bunker Hidden Valley has the highest HP of all cities.
To conclude.
I would go on, I have ideas for all the city states and maybe even including the Khans and Boomers as Civs rather than city states, however I've talked in theoreticals for far too long and so I will wait and see if someone can take me up on my offer and help me. Also, modders, all I ask is coding, you would receive full credit for the mod and I will do the map building (Unless any good map builders are interested as I'm quite rusty) and any writing such as civlopedia articles and the opening speech. All I want is to see this come to life, thanks for being patient, I know this article was probably long and all too boring, I hope you consider my offer.
