Bolivia's history is dominated by the Conservatists and is the main reason why they're in constant termoil. Thus, I figured it would be natural to add it to my next mod. The only good that comes out of it is large industrialization and production, but human rights are being violated constantly.

Anybody have any ideas on how this government should be handled?

Right now I have it as the same thing as Communism except with high war weariness, trade bonus, and a pre of industrialization. Also instead of spies being veteran like Communism, the Diplomats are veteran.

EDIT: It's Argentina, not Bolivia

Just make them similar to the facist government.

i have a question what exactly do you mean conservative is it a reactionary type government like the nazi of just a reg. conservative group like republicans. or are they conservative when it comes to social issues???

Well, Bolivia holds democratic elections but the Convservative party holds most of the power. if they want somebody out of office then they can do it no problem. it's hard to explain. look up bolivian history and you'll see.

EDIT: or was it Argentina... i can't remember right now, i'm on vacation...

It's not Argentina, we have a democratic elections system, and even though one political party has more power than the others, it was quite hard for them to convince the people to change president. They couldn't do it by themselves. The main political parties are the UCR (radical party) and Partido Justicialista (don't know the translation).

Discovered by the Spanish in 1516, Argentina was later colonized in 1518. Nearly 100 years later, Argentina declared it's Independence from Spain. General Jose de San Martin led Argentina to their victory over Spain quickly, yet their constitution didn't promulgate until 1853. In 1916, their traditional Conservative forces were defeated by the Radicals in the democratic election. This led to the ever-growing middle-class to expand more. But it did not last long. Radical President Hipolito Yrigoyen was forced from power by the Argentine military in 1930, and the Conservatives took power once again.

PS: Evita was also forced out of her Presidency (that she acquired from the death of her husband) by the Conservatives.

I'm sorry, I thought you were talking about more recent history, I believe you are right in your historical facts.
EDIT: Except for one, Evita was never president, Estela Martinez de Peron, also called 'Isabelita', was the one who replaced her husband after the general's death.

That's the name, don't know about the translation though...or much about the party either.
