Need some help with computer specs (to run Civ 5)

Hi guys!

I have a 2.2ghz Pentium Dual-core from 2008. It has 3gigs of ram, a intel graphics 3100 card (which I think is 256MB) and little else lol. Would slamming in a good ATI card allow me to play Civ 5 in DX 11 more? (I have Windows 7 32 bit). I run Civ 4 perfectly fine but I know that's not no comparison.

Would you be able to suggest any good video cards? I have the PCI express slot

What's your PSU? If it is a prebuilt and it didn't come with a discrete graphics card, then the PSU may be lacking to get a really good one. But hot "bang for you buck cards" right now are cards like the GTX 460, or the 5770.

That is the machine that I own. The only difference being that I upgraded Vista to Windows 7.

I wonder if I should get a new computer or just put a new GFX card?
