NES Ideas for ME

First let me tell you that I have very limited statistics of military sizes historically. But if someone gave the numbers to me I would be happy to make an NES in that time-period.

But until that happens here are my ideas-

An alternate world on a different planet
Some sort of SMAC NES
A fresh start NES


I am not willing to do a Sci-Fi one though.

How would people like a retro-NES 1. Which is basically like the old NESes where there aren't statistics nor orders nor updates and it is all fun reasonable story writing and the like?

I think Panda tried that, and he let it die because only me, a guy named bluecheesedude, DrakeRlugia, and a few other newer NESers still played. That, or he got lazy.

Here, the mod has to have more of a participatory role, and therefore must combine the two roles of playing and modding, which is a lot harder than it looks. At least, that's what I assume.
