On the topic of the Modern World map on the last thread.
corrections regarding Australia
Broome should not be a city.
Townsville in northern QLD should be a city.
So should Newcastle about 200kms north of Sydney
Capital should be moved about another 150kms inland and put halfway between Sydney and Melbourne (Canberra was built in 1911 halfway between the two cities that held over a million people back then, to end rivlary between the two to who would become the permamnent capital. From 1901 to 1913 Melbourne was the capital, the Old Parliament House was not built until 1926 and the current Pariliment House was openened in 1989.)
On Antarticia, I know no one ever really uses it in an NES, but can't it look cool like the rest of the map? (ie: it has fat borders and straight lines.)

With more of those corrections, but the main feature of this map is almost all the major cities of the world, ancient and modern, placed at least moderately accurately:
btw, I think its time to finally remove the "Jason" at the bottom left corner of the maps. Its been many versions since the last time I did a major revision, and its past the time where the torch needs to be passed.
