We think you may have a good lead looking into the Basque Genocide. Could sell a couple papers;)

To: France and Spain
From: The Kingdom of Greater Basque
Your invasion without a declaration of war was unwarranted, and the atrocities furthered with your genocidal killing of the Basque people. Perhaps you felt you needed no declaration of war becuase you knew the Basque people could best you in a fair fight. I hope sincerely that the international community sees what you have done and looks upon it with scorn and disdain! Your actions have warranted you a cell in Satan's Palace.

With Hate,
King Sancho IX
King of Greater Basque

Forget Japan, I'm doing a rebellion somewhere, unless a European nation opens up.
1-2 turns, and we have a whole bunch of nations at balkan.

“Father, you have called me?”

Tokugawa Nobunaga entered the room where he was summoned. His father was behind a tapestry, and only after a moment did he respond.

“Nobunaga, come over here.”

Nobunaga, although he is the heir to the shogunate, still followed all the necessary customs between a lord and his subject. Only after going through with those procedures did he left his place and walked to where his father stood.

Nobunaga immediately recognized the tapestry which his father was fixated with. It was a priceless treasure, passed down from centuries ago. It was a map of the world drawn at the time. Incidentally, it was also Nobunaga’s favourite period in the history of Japan.

“Nobunaga, you know very well about the history behind this tapestry, correct?”

“…Yes father. This was the map which prompted Oda Nobunaga and his successors to launch their future campaigns.”

“Look at Japan on the map. Tell me what you think, Nobunaga.”

“We are small and insignificant compared to the rest of the world.” Nobunaga stated the truth.

“Oda Nobunaga felt the same way as you did, my son. His ambition droved him to make Japan larger on the map, but ultimately it failed. Do you know why his successor failed?”

“Our enemies were stronger than us. He fought against China; there was no way our manpower could match theirs.”

“That is true, but there is more to it.”

Nobunaga frowned. This was beyond what he was taught in his history classes. “What do you mean, father?”

“Compare the state of Korea, China and Japan. They stood united against us, whereas we were composed of various houses barely united under a single banner. The moment things went wrong, everyone fled. Nobunaga, do you understand what I’m saying?”

Nobunaga didn’t answer, although he had a reasonable guess in his mind.

The feudal system can’t remain if we wish to bring Japan back onto its rightful place in the world.

Does this mean capulet isn't Japan anymore?

I believed we utterly crushed you, go away. you were never a nation, you were never recognized, you are a mob of drunk men who clamor for something that they will not have.

From Afghan Khanate
To France
We deplore your encouragement for rebellion in Greece against the religion of Islam when you have just crushed a rebellion. Your hypocrisy is enough to make any muslim cringe.

To Russia-Lithuania
You support rebellion in Greece but not to the Basque seperatists? Has Europe corrupted your nation, one that lies predominantly in Asia, that much? We hope you will hold off your ultimatum until it becomes clearly evident that the Greeks want to be freed and actually show supporters outside of one small organization.

OOC: das, how are my relations with the Ottoman empire?

TO: The Khan of Afghanistan
FROM: His Royal Highness, King Julien-Francois I of the French

What we find deplorable is a nation which subjects its people to fanatical law, which stones its women and mutilates their bodies - which kill innocents in a name of a god. What we deplore is the lack of services available to the people in your nation and the poverty they live in while you khans waste yourselves in massive harems and live immersed in a haze of opium smoke. Your entire nation is enough to make any person, muslim or christian, european or asian, cringe. Do not lecture us on our hypocrisy and maybe after you stop interfering in the affairs of powers more civilized and powerful than your own nation will ever be, you will be able to focus on making your nation less of a hellhole.

Have a nice day.

TO: The Basque Separatists
FROM: His Royal Highness, King Julien-François I of the French

There has been no genocide and France has not harmed those who have not harmed her or her national unity. We execute traitors, not innocents. You have no proof for such actions, and only seek to use your flamatory language in an attempt to aid your cause, being the oppurtunistic villians that you are. Any further attempts at uprising will be crushed ruthlessly.

OOC: HEY! I protest how the Afghanis People have just as good lifestyles as the CHinese people!!! :p The Chinese could feed themselves decently at least! And not be stoned by angry mobs either.
