NES2 VI - Last Semblance of Order.

64 French divisions? Lairdy, I hope you brought architects to build roads through the miles of godforsaken jungle...because there aren't any in Burma, anymore. ;)

Except the ones behind the fortifications.

You'll need plenty of bridge-builders too, it would seem that the Mekong "accidentally" overflowed it's banks.

The people of Burma is lost to the Empire. The Hearts and Mind Campaign has been defeated :( You warmongers! ;)

France: Foreign Legion - an elite corps skilled not just in ordinary combat, but also in marine operations and engineering.
Whoops. :p

Oh, well at least I have Xin Dongxi. :)

I'm not exactly sure how it will help ;)

Heheh, dasNES payback time Thlayli.

Not that I hold grudges. But it'll be interesting to see how you do in this situation.

Now if only you can go on a trip and be NPCed for a few turns during the peak of the war... :p

"Roads? Where their going they don't need roads!" [/Doc Brown]

It depends on his plan's really - and his use of his almost infinatly superior naval power :)

Also no roads in Burma? No wonder the Burmese are revolting against their corrupt and lazy Chinese overlords; they're probably just after some investment!

Additional: Any estimates for the arrival of the update das? Should be lots of fun stuff going on :D so I wouldn't be suprised if it ends up a tomorrow :(

Back to the Future 0wnz0rz!

Wait...how would the Ottomans join into the war? They're really far away and have no navy.

Three wars left to do. Fairly big ones, unfortunately...

Two in Europe now that I thought of it, one in the Middle East that I thankfully was able to do quickly enough (someone here really loves overkills, though I suppose that the customary Fallen Empire wasn't so obviously weak), and one in the Far East. As for the spotlight... guess. ;)

What is going on? Wilhelm asked a nearby officer as artillery landed nearby. The officer took out of his bag a detonator, the bridge had been filled with dynamite some days ago. I have orders to blow this bridge, like any other bridge in this river. We need to halt the russians at any cost.
Wilhelm was confused, wasnt the war already lost?, afterall there were people saying that a peace treaty was signed. The majority of the army was undecided, and was so inactive as to make everyone think the war was indeed over.
Who gave you these orders?, Wilhelm asked.
The officer, whose name Wilhelm never actually learned didnt reply as he was busy setting the charge detonation up.
Who who!!, Wilhelm asked repetedly.
von Dunkelheit, who else?, the officer finally replied as he finished his task. He then took the soldier by the arm and started pulling him away. Come on, we only have 30 seconds or so.
Russian Cossacks could be seen at the other side of the bridge. They knew not to advanced and pushed back as to negate any casualties.
The Noise that came after was like a thunder, or at least a series of them. The bridge collapsed and the officer and those under him yelled and had the highest morale Wilhelm had seen in a long time. von Dunkelheit is dead, where are you really getting your orders from?
The officer looked at him. Yes, he is dead, Iosef is dead, but not his son. Frederick is trying to mobilize some sort of resistance, so far he is trying to get claims to the Grand Chancellorship. Prussia and Hungary are behind him.
Wilhelm was quiet for a moment, maybe the war wasnt lost, or at least not yet.
Come on, we had to go to the next bridge, the group of men left on their horses.
Wilhelm ran to the nearest town to hear the news of what was really going on, he would definetely join von Dunkelheit's kid if the destruction of krakow could be averted.

Very simply. They didn't.

Iggy quite likes the overkill if I recall correctly? Ottomans against the Afghans? Lets just hope no one attacks him whilst he is away
, no. This turn, I stayed at home.

From the King of Kings of the East and West, the Great Badshah Ahmad Shah Bahadur.
To the Afghan Khan, who fled to escape our swords.

You should think of what happened to other countries ... and submit to us. You have heard how we have conquered a vast empire and have purified the earth of the disorders that tainted it. We have conquered vast areas, massacring all the people. You cannot escape from the terror of our armies. Where can you flee? What road will you use to escape us? Our horses are swift, our swords sharp, our guns like thunderbolts, our hearts as hard as the mountains, our soldiers as numerous as the sand. Fortresses will not detain us, nor arms stop us. Your prayers to God will not avail against us. We are not moved by tears nor touched by lamentations. Only those who beg our protection will be safe. Hasten your reply before the fire of war is kindled ... Resist and you will suffer the most terrible catastrophes. We will shatter your armies and reveal the weakness of your people and then we will kill your children and your old men together. Your perfidy and trechary has brought this fate upon you, your raids, your insults, and your arrogance. You have no one to blame but yourself.

Hahahaha!!! And to top it off....

To Qing China
From Mughal Empire

We have rode forth from the harsh deserts of the north and east we are beasts who will fall upon you and your soldiers and kill them to a man. You cannot defeat us. For every one of us you kill ten more spring up to replace him, our hordes are massive, our numbers endless, we have brought great empires to their knees, and humbled mighty kings. We lust in blood and warfare. We will destroy you
