Letter from Chancellor Suvorov
Dear Sirs,
Over the last year we have found ourselves in a most troubling situation, both in Russia and, in a larger sense, in the whole World. We ourselves, and many others, have realized this and have worked hard to prevent the spread of fear and to maintain stability in this World. This stability, however, is continuosly challanged, and we are now facing the biggest threat to national sovereignty that has ever existed.
Realizing this threat to national sovereignty not only of Russia, but of every single country in the World, we have to act. Following the events of last year Russia finds herself no longer bound by the Treaty of Vienna as France, Poland, and the Byzantine Empire have violated the terms of the Peace. The Treaty guarantees the independance of Romania, which has most brutaly been breached. Russia cannot continue to stand idly by as one country after the next continues to lose their sovereignty.
As such Russia has, according to her alliance with England, act against the Kingdom of France. We will persue war against the Kingdom of France on land, water, and air until the French nation is no longer in a position to violate the sovereignty of any independant nation, and stability and order are returned to our World.
We further, at the request of the Hungarian people, are moving to act to prevent the Union of Poland and Hungary. We will use all necessary means to prevent this Union as it is in effect a denial of Hungarian sovereignty and the subjugation of the Hungarian people.
Russia must now call upon all of her allies and all other nations to join us in this effort. Russia is fighting not for the sovereignty of only Hungary and England, but for the sovereignty of every country in the World. Sovereignty is the ability to make your own decisions, and, as has been shown with England, no country in the World has the ability to make the decisions that run counter to the wishes of the French. We therefore ask all nations of this World to stand up and take arms in defense of their sovereignty and that of all other nations as well.
We will press on with this effort until such time as Poland renounces all ambitions of a Union between Poland and Hungary and until such time as the French nation is ready to restore sovereignty to the nations that it has subjugated and to agree to terms that will restrict its ability to further violate the sovereignty of independant peoples.
Chancellor Suvorov.
