I'm aware of this, will fix soonish, for now, revert to an autosave and don't dig that site.

Per post:The antiquity sites are treated like a resource in the game (eg iron, truffles, etc) but there is another data structre attached to the plot class that holds the details for the kind of artifact that will be found.

Something seems off with investment and buy costs on game speeds other than Standard. For example, a shrine costs:
Q 43 :c5production: 60 :c5gold: (0.66x :c5production:, 0.75x :c5gold:
S 65 :c5production: 80 :c5gold:
E 97 :c5production: 100 :c5gold: (1.49x :c5production:, 1.25x :c5gold:)
M 195 :c5production: 170 :c5gold: (3x :c5production: , 2.13x :c5gold:)

In addition, I can't figure out what causes it, but sometime after starting, everything seems to cost 10 :c5gold: more on Epic and Marathon.

Hello I play on YnAEMP Earth (Giant) map as Rome. Since I installed this update, I have spawned 99% of the time in jungle or next to a jungle. I must have restarted over 30 times but kept getting thrown into the same 5 jungle spots, this wasn't the case last version. Is this something to do with a starting bias bug or something?

I think there's a bug for "Negotiation Peace". I have been in war with a Ottomans for about 30 turns. It is one sided as I have a war score of 100. He asked for peace. However, the "Max Value: 0", while "Peace Deal Value: Acceptable".
He won't accept any deals and the "Peace treaty 15 turns" will not appear in the negotiation. Thus I am stuck in this war forever. @@

Hey guys. I haven't played since the 2/7 version a couple of months ago. It looks like this beta has a problem with archaeology and a hotfix hasn't been released yet. Can anyone who's been playing it speak to how prevalent / annoying it is? Maybe I should just wait a few more days before starting a game?

Attached is my save game. Playing on diety, epic speed, standard map, pangea. Installed Vox Populi (3-31) patch. Installed setup "43-Civ Vox Populi (EUI)"
Also, having constant random crashes after turn 300+.
Computer i5, 12GB RAM, GTX960.

Are you using flag promotion, RED, 2k textures for terrains, or any similar graphical mod?
If yes, try without. If no, a post on Github would be more adequate: https://github.com/LoneGazebo/Community-Patch-DLL/issues

Unfortunately, civ is a 32bit application, so it cannot use efficiently more than 4GB of RAM, whatever your computer has. So reaching the memory limit is not really difficult.

Nope I did not use any graphical Mods. Everything is original setting, installed Civ 5 and then installed vox populi using the installer.

What problem are you referring to? Archeology is fine at least since 3/20.

It was patched only 3 days ago, and AFAICT the beta hasn't been repackaged since 3/31, hence the waiting for the next release. But as I haven't played it yet I don't know how frequently people are running into this issue. It would just be frustrating to have to avoid a lot of digs / backtrack autosaves a lot after putting all the time getting up to the era of archaeology when I can spare myself that by waiting for the release. Unless its only like 1% of sites then maybe it's worth it.

I'm having an odd situation. I'm in a very long war against what was the top civ (everyone's at war with them). The score against me in the list of everyone they're fighting is -38; others are closer to zero, or positive. But when I ask them to make peace, their score registers as "38" -- no minus -- and while they don't respond with I won't talk to you," they put up no offer, and accept no offer. Does this sound like a bug?

From what i know, possitive score in your trade screen with the leader means you're winning, negative if you're losing. But if you try to see the warscore in the score list, you're seeing the warscore from your enemy perspective. So, from your perspective, you have 38 warscore. From the enemy perspective, -38.

Sometimes you need like 50 or 60 warscore to peace out, or you need to wait some turns if some ai is paying for the declaration of war

That makes sense. I just liberated two of the cities he'd taken, so that may also be a factor. Thanks a lot. I couldn' remember whether the number on the trade screen should match or not, and that was throwing me off.

AFAIK the AI's willingness to negotiate peace depends on multiple factors, including but not limited to the warscore.

Well unfortunately I wasn't able to replicate my happiness issues with a new spain game....because I streamrolled everyone this time. Hehe, its funny that we get hung up on imbalances like landing on a forest for example....but never think about the fact that if you have 6 horses near you, and your opponent does not...you will roll them pretty hard.

So in this game I did just that. Basically dominated my neighbors, got to the top of the heap, and then once conquistadors came online it was a done deal.

As an interesting note, I got the production bonus belief this game. I took a snapshot at one point, and noticed that the belief increased my production by 10-15%. That is a pretty darn good bonus, just interesting to note.

I am going to go to the latest version and try the same settings again. I'm hoping to showcase the happiness spiral and get it in the logs.
