Yep I noticed this too. Definitely seems like an oversight.
Yeah...it seems like for consistency the unit should just get the splash damage promotion, and then one for the city thing...but that's about as nitpicky as it gets
But then it would be able to get Splash II.
I know what I'm doing.
Regarding the Chu-ko-nu and Slinger: Seems odd to have two unrelated effects on a single promotion. Maybe split them into two separate promotions?
Something seems broken with science cost scaling for game speed. On Epic, the tier 1 techs cost 60 science (same as on Standard), I think it used to be 97 or something like that. The later techs also don't look right.

I don't know if that would be the worse thing in the world...but again nitpicky, I think the new unit looks pretty cool, and I'll want to give it a whirl.

Too busy to test atm but awesome with slinger and cho-ku changes.
Inca is probably still very hard to break if he has mountain cities but hopefully not as broken as previously.
Splash is fun and very useful vs an AI that retreats injured units a lot, looking forward to a china game.
Managed to speed a Mongol game on prev patch and it was one of my easiest games in awhile, will be interesting on this patch especially in open terrain, also Atilla yikes.
Yea the text for slingers is also off, but the promotion shows concussion ( and on your chukonu shows the siege volley). I think G said he'll fix the text stuff later.
Waiting for the tech and diplo hotfix to play thoroughly for now though
Haven't tested it, but the Chukonu seems underwhelming for a unique unit. That's a massive nerf.
The rest of China's kit is strong enough that they can sustain a nerf to their UU.
Chu-Ko-Nu (and Slingers maybe) wants their reduced RCS back.
What does it change? I started a game with the pre-hotfix beta and everything looks smooth tbh, anyway I tried load an old save with the hotfix and the game crashed so I guess it's not save compatible (maybe I had to clear the cache?) back to the pre-hotfix version for now.
Also, undocumented (but welcome) change, global wltk from GM has been nerfed, I guess it gets bumped by +1 turn for every town still?
