New civilization: Portugal

How I put my flag visible in the game? I see a white flag.

A IDEIA:
During the game we have changing Eras like Classical,Modern,Indutrial etc etc and I would like to say if its possible having our flags changings when we entered in another Age.
Example: In our Age of Discoveries (Medieval/Classical Eras) our flag was White-Blue with the Portuguese symbol in the middle with a crown,when we entered in Industrial/Modern Ages the flag is the actual one.
Its possible for us having that flag changes as we evolute according to our History??

Mas era mto fixe as nossas bandeiras mudarem de acordo com as épocas,e fazia sentido.
Temos neste tópico um site com as nossas bandeiras cronologicas.

- D.Sebastião (?)
- D.Manuel (?)

another great personalities/cientists/artists/prophets (that allow to join in the city or to advance our cience):

- Vasco da Gama (allows to discovery a new technology)
- Fernão de Magalhães (makes possible to build the Great Wonder - Padrão dos Descobrimentos)
- Marquês de Pombal (makes a city bigger/ and complete a building with our choice)
- Pedro Álvares Cabral ( makes a city being wealthy)
- Camões (grows the Culture in one city)
- Fernando Pessoa (complete a cultural building with our choice)

Portuguese wonders/culture :

- Escola Marítima de Sagres (gives 5 Carracks and 5 Settles)
- Torre de Belém (grows the Defense of the Country and gives 5 unit combat with our choice)
- Mosteiro dos Jerónimos (gives 5 workers and put a religion building in every city)
- Padrão dos Descobrimentos (grows the Economy and makes people happier in all cities)

Portuguese symbols :

- Cruz da Ordem de Cristo

I've modified CivArmy's Portugal mod and made it Warlords compatible but I have no place to host it so I was wondering, if it's ok with CivArmy, if anyone knows a good free host I can upload the files to. Zipped it wheighs 953Kbs.

There are no changes to the game exept for the inclusion of a new building exclusive to the Portuguese Civ, the Docks. Docks are just Like the normal harbour but they make building ships 25% faster and give them +2 experience. This makes the portuguese ships, specially the carrack, a considerable edge in combat until the dry dock is developed, and more developed ships appear.

Go to the file "CIV4ArtDefines_Civilization.xml" and look for <Type>ART_DEF_CIVILIZATION_PORTUGAL</Type>. A few lines below you should see <bWhiteFlag>1</bWhiteFlag>. Change it to <bWhiteFlag>0</bWhiteFlag>.

I have that file in <bWhiteFlag>0</bWhiteFlag> ,and there is no flag.I tried with <bWhiteFlag>1</bWhiteFlag> and didn't worked too

Try replacing the flag file with this one:

And set the XML to this: <bWhiteFlag>1</bWhiteFlag>

Thats how mine is.

Hi all

Thk u Civ Army for this great work. I think Salazar should be kept out because its the same problem as Hitler for Germany. The carrack is a good UU because it helps having a good sea empire.

Incoming, i have tried to download your warlords versio0n but when im extracting i has an error. Hope u can fix it soon.

By the way, how can u use personalized avatar???

I'm getting no error from the download. I checked. Maybe your download got corrupted somehow or you're using an older version of Winzip.

hello, in the new mod PTWarlords when i click to make the UU carrack the game goes down, i dont know if this happens just in my pc. I wanted to know if someone have the same problem and how to resolve it. By the way, nice update of the older mod incoming9000, good work whit the flag.
