There is a possibility of a new pack to come. If it were to come, which ones would you like to be added? If I see some recurring names, I'll add them onto the poll. Feel free to vote as many as you like and to add votes if and when new names are added as options.

Who do you think their leaders should be? What would be their bonuses? Agendas?

I voted for Assyria, Berbers, Haiti, and Iroquois.

I'd also like Italy (not just Venice or Papal States), Austria, Navajo and Siam.

I guess specifically for leaders:
Assyria-Ashurbanipal with a focus on domination to achieve science and culture

Austria-Maria Theresa to focus on culture and diplomatic relationships with everyone.

Berbers-Dihya with a focus on thriving in the desert.

Haiti-Toussiant Louverture with a focus on anti-colonization/revolutions and building up
culture/religion

Iroquois-Jigonhsasee with a focus on diplomacy with larger powers and incorporating different tribes (tribal villages, barbarians) into her civilization.

Italy- Victor Emmanuel II with a focus on integrating city-states into his empire and having a bunch of separate specialist cities with their own bonuses.

Navajo-Manuelito with a focus on defending their homeland and never going on the offensive in a war.

Siam-Rama V with a focus on becoming an industrial/cultural powerhouse.

And Akenhaten for Egypt with a more builder and faith focus.

Assuming that there would be eight new civilizations and an additional leader to one of the base civilizations:
  1. Apache - Geronimo
  2. Argentina - Eva Peron
  3. Assyria - Tiglath-Pileser III
  4. Austria - Charles V
  5. Hasmoneans / Israel / Judea - Judas Maccabeus or Outremer - Godfrey of Bouillon
  6. Italy - Cosimo de' Medici
  7. Mexico - Hernán Cortéz
  8. Powhatan - Pocahontas
New leader: Brutus, First Consul or the Roman Republic

In addition to ideas already suggested, I'd like suggest al-Andalus. We don't often see Islamic representation from northwest Africa or Iberia

Leader: Abd ar-Rahman III of the Umayyad Dynasty

I think an interesting take could come from the Arab Agricultural Revolution. Perhaps some sort of combination of food growth with science (instead of the faith & science seen in Arabia)?

I'm mostly picking for geographic diversity on TSL maps since there is a pretty big disparity in where civs are likely to spawn.

1. Mojave/Puebo/Yuma/someone in that area
2. Cuba or Haiti
3. Morocco or Algeria
4. Kazakhstan
5. Shoshone
6. Someone else in southern Afirca. Zimbabwe?
7. Tatars
8. Afghanistan
9 obligatory alternate leader: An alternate leader for Arabia that is actually based in Arabia.

Why is there so little talk about the great Kushan kingdom? First, it represents the region of Afghanistan, and second, it was an extremely influential hegemon of that time. It is simply amazing that such an influential empire is ignored in the civilizational community.

huns , austria-hungary empire , berbers , apache and/or iroquis , danes , another pacific island nation , empire of kush or mughal

Was there any word on new content or is yet another cultural sales pitch thread?

I voted some random ones but I kinda wish there are some East Africa civs. Currently none of the civs are from East Africa.

Neither. There's nothing solid other than Firaxis stubbornly refusing to use language that indicates finality to Civ VI (multiple rederences to "final update of this season", for example) which is evidence in itself that they're at least considering it. It's not really.a pitch thread, I'm just curious what civs others think are missing or would bring the most if added. I'm assuming that if they do further content, adding civs is almost guaranteed to be part of it.

Come on, am I the only vote for Italy?! It could be a great pack, combining Italian citystates/kingdoms into one civilization like Fireaxes did with Germany. With focus on renaissance era and capital is Venice, Milan or whatever. Special traits something like double points for great artists & writers, special units maybe carabinieri, laterna or genoan crosbowmen. New worldwonder = Uffizi. So many possibilities!

To be fair, Italy is only a recent addition to the poll, only added about an hour ago - Venice is doing much better, being an original option.

Nepalese, Thai, Ryukyu , Iroquois, Mexican, Hawaii, Cuban, as we seems lack of Asian civilizations and North American civilizations. A Cuban civilization led by Fidel Castro seems very interesting.

Hmmmm....

No Burma, no Bulgaria...no Oman or Swahili or literally anything in African outside of the Berbers...

I don't like this poll.
