UPDATE 27/02/2007 - Fixed a small bug where the button in the Civlopedia was too large, also this version of Hirohito has a different cap with the brim down a bit, the glasses and all of the medals now contain specularity levels.

I should note that only the art files are any different, the XML are the same as the last version, so if you have already merged this with your mod, just replace the button graphics and the Hirohito LH Art folder.

Future Updates - Make an improved Civlopedia entry, and also a nonshader version of Hirohito.

    CURRENT SCREENSHOT

    - Original Post Below -

    EMPEROR HIROHITO

This is a new attempt at creating an animated LeaderHead that somewhat resembles the Japanese leader, Emperor Hirohito. I think that this is the best that I can come up with, with the limited resources and skill that I have.
As you can see, I decided to base him off Napoleon, and he uses Napoleon's animations (anyone know of any other LeaderHead animations that work properly with Napoleon?). Anyway, to make Hirohito look realistic I resized him, made his eyes look more Asian, added a new hat (not Stalin's), some new ears, the glasses, and lastly, added a few decorations to his uniform. The Imperial Palace is in the background.
This mod has Hirohito already added with the button and pedia entry, so all you have to do is place it in your Warlords/Mods folder, and then load the mod. His traits are Imperialist and Financial, and his favourite civic is Nationhood. If anyone thinks that these need changing, please post a suggestion.

    Here's some ingame screenshots:

    All comments and criticisms welcome.

Very nice :goodjob: (I'll refrain from saying "First Post!"). Do you mind if I use him in my modpack? And, by the way, did you try Stalin's animations with him as I believe Napoleon's animations work on Stalin and "usually" the opposite is true for the animations.

Thanks, you can use him as long as you give credit and everything :D
I think I tried Stalin a while ago, and it didn't work.

EDIT: Just tried Stalin's greeting animation just to make sure, and it was horrible :p

I like it. My only critique would be if you could get the bill of the cap to angle down over his forehead it would be perfect, but that's minor.

As I mentioned in the development thread for Hirohito, your "limited skill" has produced an unbelievable LH, You can hardly tell its Napoleon, at least in my opinion. Job Well Done.

Thanks, that's a great idea for the hat Woodelf, I'll see if I can get around to changing it. The hat used to look better when it was slightly smaller and lower on his forehead but his hair went through the sides of the hat so, had to enlarge it and move it up a bit :(
It's a pity imported objects lose their spec otherwise the brim could be shiny like in the pic I was basing him off.

Thanks for the other comments  I can still see a little Napoleon in him, but I've done what I can to make him as different as possible :p

Just wondering, is there both a shader and non shader version?

I also created a plug and play module for my plug and play system, it includes everything in your mod except the diplo text which it cant load, that file will just have to be hand merged. Its now on the CCCP SF library and I'll e-mail you a copy as well Chug so you can upload and display it as another option on your sig.

Edit: seems I cant send E-mails directly too you so if you want me to send it too you send me your E-mail

 Yeah he looks a bit silly without the shader. If I have time I'll create a non-shader version. About the E-mail, I don't think I had it enabled in my User CP, but it's fixed now, so you can send it if you like :D

Thanks it'd be cool to see him in WW2 1939. Small update: I've adjusted his cap (thanks to Woodelf for the idea) and fixed specularity in some areas.
