New Era?

Does anyone know if it's possible to create an whole new Tech Era? Judging from the pcx files it's possible to create the screen, but is it possible to link the end of the modern times to the next era, say, "The Future"?

I don't think it's possible only in the sense that if you create a new technology, you have to replace an existing one. So to create a whole new era would require replacing a TON of existing techs.

Would be cool though.

I don't believe it's possible yet, but may be possible in the future if they patch the editor.

Due to the way eras are handled in the game this is one of the hardest things to do. It may be possible in the future but isn't an immediate priority.

Can you make it possible to split one era into more then one screens (to fit more techs in the same era)?
