New horror movie: 'Smiley'

Well, it does look interesting to me, in that it could in theory have something novel to present. It is about Smiley, a serial killer who can be summoned through the internet- or can he?

Anyway, i am not sure if it will indeed be lame or not, but it might be worth something still, which is more than can be said of most horror movies

I can't think of the last time they made a good horror movie. One without blood and guts, but still is psychologically scary. hint: This is a time for you to recommend me movies like that, that I may have missed.

Anyways, judging by the screen capture on that video, I'm not impressed. Blood doesn't scare me anymore.

[REC] was good, a few years old now but worth checking out.

Indeed, [REC] was good. Watch the Spanish version though, it's way better than the English remake, like always.

I always give horror movies the benefit of the doubt - never buy them until I've seen and liked them though...

REC did have a good plot, but i did not watch Rec2 in its entirety.

Btw i just read that the EA Poe movie was not that good.

Oh, and Eskalofrio was partly good, although after a point i did not like it.

Umm. Well. That certainly is nightmare fuel!

I don't mind surreal horror. It really comes down to the actors, I think, in horror flicks. A great idea is ruined by bad actors and a meh idea can be made tolerable by good ones.

Killer reminds me of Lord Voldemort, oddly enough.

The idea is certainly unique though - a modern Candyman, summoned through the internet in a Digital era instead of through mirrors.

So, shall we take bets before someone comes up with a crossover of Candyman vs. Smiley?

think there's a hollywood remake out there, so avoid getting the wrong one.
