Ok, so i recently did a clean install of W11, as i was increasing the size of my tiny ssd (thanks HP !)
As an avid civ4 fan, i remembered that the set up (on steam) for civ4 and mods was a little odd, but i was confident i could set it up correctly again.
Anyway, i reinstalled steam and civ4.
When i tried to install BAT mod, it initially flashed up a message saying i probably didnt have civ4 bts installed (looked like non steam folders listed) or it wasnt fully updated.
That was odd because i did have it installed (steam though), and it was the final release (3.19?).
Anyway, the installation box then popped up and i installed BAT mod.
I ran the game to check, and then loaded the mod from the list, and it all seemed to work fine.
I then added a line in steam properties to automatically load the the BAT mod (found on here...kudos), and reloaded the game, and that worked.
So i started a new game, and the noticed something odd...the values for research were different :
mediation 100, code of law 441, maths 315 (sb 337 ?), monarchy 378 (sb 405 ?)
Anyone had this odd issue ?
