I wanted to make available the large European map I used for my WWII Europa scenario. If anyone wants to use or modify it for a scenario please feel free. I can even include a list of grid references showing the location of cities if anyone wants one.
I am quite proud of my map. My ability to create beautiful unit graphics is about zero which is why I borrow from other designers. To try and return the favour I would like to make my map available.
The advantages of this European map over others would be scale (32,000sq over 10,000sq) and accuracy. I have had to adapt it slightly to suit the games. For example in the Ancient scenario I am developing I have deleted the USA!
Using this map would also save designers a lot of time. I have been toying with the idea of a medieval scenario about the rise of the Ottomans that could utilize this map. I suppose it could be used for a WWI or Napoleonic scenario although there are already a lot of good ones out there.
