CIV V came out in 2010. I do not like the idea of them changing the game 8 years later. At the very least, there should be an option to accept or deny any update. I check and, so far, on steam I'm only seeing an option to choose how I wish to receive an update. I can see how the new launcher could be a useful tool to provide news about the game. However, at this stage, I doubt anything useful for CIV 5 will be coming. Maybe for CIV 6 where there are bound to be more patches still, an expansion, and maybe bore content patches yet to come. All this patch has done is make me jump through hoops to open ans reset options to play a perfectly fine running game AND sour me on CIV 6's next expansion.

Even if it's 100% off, I have ZERO interest. I even have CivBE here and junked it after playing for a few hours.
