could also just be that she’s standalone for now, like Amina, Trung Trac and MachiavelliIf that's Catherine, it confirms Russia over Mexico. She could theoretically be a Central/Eastern Europe regional leader (as a German princess and Russian Tsaress), but with Frederick there, it makes her scope more narrow.
yep definitelySeems more like Frederick the Great rather than Frederick Barbarossa.
But he's a man ...Even Catherine's lover Grigory Potemkin would make an interesting choice.
So is Peter, the last I checked. But sure. Yelizevata Petrovna, then. Anastasia Romanovna. Lyudmila Pavlichenko. Anastasia Nikolaevna played by Meg Ryan whose ability is to equip her units with jeweled corsets that deflect bullets. But he's a man ...

I'm disappointed, to be honest. I find both choices uninspired, but especially Catherine the Great.
I don't see why. Leaders are no longer tied to civilizations.
The ESRB rating pertains to the base game. They will have to resubmit for a new rating for DLCs if they contain new materials. Also that could be referring to the DLC. I would Imagine Russia will definitely be one of the first 39, even if not in the base 30.
Would they not just submit the materials for DLCs that are already ready (ie descriptions of Leaders)The ESRB rating pertains to the base game. They will have to resubmit for a new rating for DLCs if they contain new materials.
Once they revealed they were going for non-political leaders, my mind quickly went to wanting Rasputin. But I'll take her over anyone else for Russia, if we can't have him.I'm disappointed, to be honest. I find both choices uninspired, but especially Catherine the Great. Russia has no shortage of interesting personalities, but we can't get anyone but alternating Catherine and Peter. Even Catherine's lover Grigory Potemkin would make an interesting choice.
