I really don't think he first film can be topped - it's supposed to be about a controlled environment that falls apart. Having the later films set on an island where the dinosaurs were free kinda defeated the point.

Again, despite Sam Neill's best efforts in the third film.

Ghostubsters? Are those, like, ghosts that can only haunt bathtubs? Or what?

What was wrong with Ghostbusters 2?

Some of us care more about characters than chaos theory. In this respect, I give a slight nod to III, but admit that II was still pretty weak. Could Michael Crichton really not come up with anything more interesting than Malcolm's kid (who doesn't look even half-white) and one of his exes (who obviously is not the mother of that particular kid)?

Eh, I don't really care what the structure of the imaginary fourth movie is so long as it's cool and it has dinosaurs. :p

    1) It's spelled "piranha"

    2) That would be an excellent follow-up to Meet the Spartans and Vampires Suck, which would be paradoxical because it would be parodying horrible movies, but would itself be a horrible movie.

When was the last time you saw Temple of doom? When I was kid I of course liked it, but couple of years ago watched it again, and it was utter crap: The movie has almost no plot at all, Indiana Jones just goes through the caves and beats up everything that comes across while the girl whines.

I don't think Return of Jedi worse than Empire strikes back either, I might think it's better.

I'm not sure if all of those movies are going to come out, but I am getting sick of remakes, reboots, and sequels. Also he didn't mention all the lame comic book movies that will be comming out too. All we have to look foward too is more boring regurgitated 70 year old comic book heroes that are long overdue for being retired, more Fast and the Furious 10, more remaking the same Jason and Freddy Krueger movies . Why bother writing anything new when they can keep duping people into paying money for the same stuff the've been reusing for years.

I recently watched all the indiana jones movies and had no nostalgia attached to it, did barely remember what they were about before re-watching them. And I liked the first the best and think that it is the likely thing to do also if one excludes nostalgia.

Sequels make money, and twenty out of the hundreds of movies released in the year isn't bad.

Until Hollywood gets its act together and starts working on the Passion of the Christ 2, I am going to be watching foreign and indie movies. And the original Planet of the apes.

Unless the US recently has annexed Canada, Hollywood movies are foreign movies to you, aren't they?

I on the other hand am still waiting for Guybrush on the big screen(sooner or later there must be a good "game to movie adaption" and I hope that will be it).
