If the map was the Caribbean from Vera Cruz to Bermuda, you could have the players be pirates and each turn would be about 2 weeks. Players would plot their ship's course for the turn and the mod would plot galleon and merchant ships coming and going across the map. Where pirates and galleons crossed paths at the same time some sort of attack would occur. the goal of course would be to collect treasure and not have it stolen by other pirates or other wise lost.I was wondering what everyone thought about a Pirate NES (NO I did not get this from the movie. I havent even seen the new one yet.) It would be based in the carribean and maybe we could have the seas be colored so you can see what pirate captain has control over the most land and sea. I dunno I wanted some comments and help on the thing since I think it could work.
Winds would be set before orders sent and then, in season, great storms would suddently appear and wreak havoc. Each pirate player would have a cool ship and maybe a "secret" base or pirate town. The mod would pre map galleon and merchant voyages each turn and have a few soldier forays nto pirate bases to see if they can catch anyone unawares.
I think that this would make a great NES.
