FYI - there is a bug with loading saved games. Attempting to solve and hotfix this, you may want to hold off on playing for a bit.

EDIT: Fixed, hotfix posted.

Looks great, though the patch notes are shorter it's because (from what I've been hearing) there have been major improvements to the AI, I'm excited to play against them!

I was wondering, what are the fort yields now exactly?
EDIT: nevermind, it's:
1 bgp
+ 4 bgp at electronics
+2 science at chemistry
+4 science at stealth
+2 bgp at Military Science

Also, it's not listed in the patch notes but there is a new local culture (border growth) icon, it looks great.

Question on updating versions is simply running the new patcher enough or should I do a clean wipe of my mods folder

The installer wipes your mods folder (only the VP components) for you.

Reading on changes I assume this mean bribed wars and defensive pact mechanics remain untouched, correct?

Logic for bribed wars between AIs has been improved, they will only accept bribes against their major competitors.
 
Also, could someone help me understand this one please:

How does tile upgrade (fort) relate to the border growth?
