New Promotions: 100x100 avatar and 300 PMs!

I am pleased to announce that we have added two new promotions to the forum.

The first promotion allows 100x100 pixel and 6 KB custom avatar. To be eligible, you need to have 100 posts AND have been a member for 100 days.

The second promotion allows 300 private messages (compared to the 200 PMs normally). To be eligible, you need to have 300 posts AND have been a member for 300 days.

If you meet the requirements, you will be automatic promoted within the next hour.

You can edit your avatar at the Edit Avatar page under My Account.

On-topic: Do we have volunteers to begin adapting the standard avatars to make larger ones, or are they large anyway, and just get shrunk when used?

hehe... I probably will switch back to the good old battleship, but for now I want to exploit the 100x100 avatar.

I think the standard ones are fine. Some of them would not look good when you resize them to 100x100 anyway, since most of them are GIF format.

Actually I already upped it to 6 KB. Forgot to mention it in the news post....

PS: Moderators now can have up to 10 KB, and more PM space. But they have the same 100x100 size for avatars.
