This is really annoying
I do agree to play on from the new French turn. Eivind mentioned however that France (academia)(welcome aboard BTW) should play from it. France could then at least build what it wants, as all cities have no production in the box, if I understand Duke's post correctly.
To academia: I hope we can continue the alliance between our nations.

Just to make sure, in the new save that Eivind has posted the French player has not moved yet. I didn't read through the last batch of posts to see if the French player has gone yet. I'm just covering the bases.

Well, first of all i´d like to clarify a couple of things:
1) Are you going to use the playtest or the new version?
2) Shall I replay last french turn?
3) I noticed that there is a state of war between your nations. As a result of Eivind´s cheating, I suppose that in some way France may have taken advantage of the situation. So, are we going to continue with this war? The cheating may have modified the results of the battles, don´t you think so?
4) Please, I need you to tell me the modifications that i have to carry on in the French Empire. If i have to give up cities, delete units, sell builidings... whatever.

2) Yes, the turn was only modified, but it has not been played by the French player yet.
3) Yes, one of the reasons I wanted a restart; the cheating definitely affected the battles. But since we are continuing, the choice is yours. It seems kinda futile to me though; France and U.S. vs. Germany and Russia? It would be in France's best interest to make peace, but it's your call.
4) Apparently you don't have to modify anything; the file Eivind posted seems to have leveled it off about right.

* Russia, apart from the war on the us-french alliance, is also waging war on Germany ( I don´t know why?)
* Germany is in a state of war with Fra/USA; Russia and England too!!!! (Is Hitler controlling Germany? It seems that they declared war on the world)
* Japan loves peace apparently.
Is that ok?

No. Although I didn't announce it, I ended the war with Germany after the war began with the U.S. and France. At the moment I have offered alliance and huge military support to Germany but he has rejected it to my amazement.
It looks more to me like the world declared war on them, but I barely know what the hell was going on. It looked to me like they just started yelling at him. Then at roughly the same time he stupidly dropped off some cannon to conquer India, even though they never could have done it. I dunno, it's all a haze to me now.

As for the Russian situation, Germanos (IMO) made too big of a deal out of the actions of my AI ambassador, and relations cooled further after a false New York Times article about Russian wargames that simply didn't exist. Then things got worse when the U.S. and France denied Russian requests for Belgrade's inclusion in the German cessions. I started to make a pretty good case for myself but then out of sheer laziness I edited significant portions of an old post rather than redo a turn which I had screwed up in. This finally convinced France and Britain to joing the U.S. against Russia.

Yeah, that's what got Britain to declare war against Germany. Somewhat ironically, I was about to launch a major attack on France for clogging up every sea-route in the world
BTW, Britain is also allied with the US and France. (we just couldn't get the dumb AI to agree to it
)

I was surprised to hear you say then that you were just about to support Tracid diplomatically before the foolish attempt, let alone that you were going to attack France. In another irony, with battles of major war that early in the game we probably would have caught Eivind way earlier.
And I suffered the same fate as Tracid, Britain were being reasonable toward me but then I did something stupid to screw it up just like he did.
