New Textures for some original Units.

Hi everyone,

I am almost done making Throughout the Ages and thought why not release the unit textures for those who want to download and use them.

Included in the attached zip file are textures for 22 units.

The Readme file is included in the Zip. Be sure to read it.

Throughout the Ages Unit names:

Bronze Swordsman
Bronze Maceman
Bronze Spearman
Bronze Pikeman
Bronze Knight
Iron Swordsman
Iron Maceman
Iron Spearman
Iron Pikeman
Iron Knight
Steel Swordsman
Steel Maceman
Steel Spearman
Steel Pikeman
Steel Knight (art not included in zip as the original file looked steel-like)
Jet Mk II
Mechanized Infantry Mk II
Stealth Mk II
Future Armor
Cyborg
*Sniper and Modern Sniper (came with Sniper mod and so I retextured the infantry and rifleman to give them a different look for the snipers.)

The zip file does not include any xml data. It is just the .dds files. Installation instructions are included in the readme file.

NOTE TO MODDERS: For those out there making their own mods, if you choose to use my art files, all I ask is you give me credit.

Very nice, just what I needed for my ancient era mod, but I noticed a lack of Bronze Axeman, Iron Axeman, and Steel Axeman, any chance we could get something for these units?

You know the thought had crossed my mind, but I didn't get around to making new textures for the axeman.

However, now that you've requested it, I'll take the next day or so to make them.

Finally we get Tanks in FfH

There actually was tank art in early versions of FfH for those that remember.

I included the bronze versions of the units for the Malakim civ, they look great. I will definitly credit you for creating them Agent 009, thanks!

Ok, as per Jeckel's request, I decided to make a bronze, iron, and steel version of the axeman.

Readme file included in the zip.

Modders feel free to use them if you so desire. All I ask is that you give me credit.

NOTE: The attached Screenshot resolution to some extent has been lost due to it being a .jpg. I also have my graphics set to low in Civ 4 as I only have 768MB of RAM. Also, these textures do not have any gloss, so, they don't seem to be reflective like the spearman.

I spent the past 3 hrs making these so I hope you guys like them.
