Cool! I don't know if it's been posted publicly, but there's also one of Kinboat's pandas that was recoloured brown to look sort of like a bear.

I like bears. I want to kill one and eat it someday. :D

Somewhere in the Canadian wilderness, a bear is going "I like Mithadans. I want to kill one and eat it someday."

:D Then the feeling is mutual! What a wonderful world...

Nice unit, LizardmenRule, thanks for an animal enrichment!!! :-)
Are you going to draw another bear with an upright attack stance (as bears typically do unlike leopard-like attack in this unit)? :-)

And, maybe, some white-recolored polar bear, too? :-))) Would be cool for Norsk-scenarios and viking theme!

...Vikings and Polar bears... :hmm:

There is a recolor of one of Kinboats Panda units, looks like a big bear that walks on his hind legs, and smacks his bi*ch up! :) done by mrtn. Aaglo called that unit "nasty"

Yup! - THe Vikings were deadly enemies of the polar bears of Greenland and even some parts of Norway... don't you remember how many beautiful snow-white skins of those animals were traded into Western Europe by the Nordic people? For Greenland viking colonies Polar bear skins and whalrus tasks were the main export itmes for centuries.
Besides the Polar bears do attack people they the latter move northawrds. Band the are fun! :-)

But I must say, I am lookin` forward to this mod you are putting together my jaguar friend

*smile* - I do hope I'll make it someday... :-) If only I coud draw new units as brilliantly as Kinboat, Supa and others are able to.. - and yet I don't even know how to extract separate frames from the unit praphic file - let aside apart modifying them! :(

But anyway - I've almost completed my large Biological Resource file with dozens of plant and animal species like, say cassoires and fruiting tropical lianas :-)
And there are two big cat units now (puny malnutried lion and splendid jaguar - both thanks to Aluminium passion to converstions :-)) and the brown bear, which was apparently raised by a tigress-mama due to its attack habits :-), and excellent grey wolf pack and single wolf to represent dire wolves of the Ice Age America, and a swarm of giant rats from Papua island and even the magnificent Hokioi-eagle, the biggest raptor ever to fly in the skies of Earth... - thanks to Kinboat.
And i checked for Civarmy's neanderthal unit to-day. - Good one, excellent realistic animation, very appropriate for... late paleolithic Homo sapiens or the Cro-Magnons! :-)
Well, maybe one day somebody will create several other creatures - like the real Neanderthal unit set, a tiny elusive Indonesian "hobbits", a woolly mammoth, a wild elephant without saddlecloth, a couple of slightly different rhinoe to stand for the woolly and african ones, a gint groundloth and a sabertooth cat... and maybe even the Titanis walleri, a phororacoid running raptor - an absolutely terrifying dinosaur-like killer bird from the Texan praries of the Ice Age...
:-)
P.S. my dear raging storm :-), my name is not derived from scientific atin... it is actually a native name for the criptic Cat of Montezuma which is believed by some (including me) to be the last surviving population of the native American cheetah species, Miracinonyx inexpectatus... :snowcool: ;)
