This is a unit from zulu9812's latest unit request thread. Since the Celts already have the Gallic Swordsman, I don't know how this can be used. But, maybe someone will find it useful. :)

Give it to france (Gallic Swordsman) Me loves it :)

Oi, looks like you will repopulate the ancient world with decidedly fast steps- have you got a to-do list or something ?? :)

Good Lord! Another awesome unit. :yeah:

Finally a proper ‘infantry unit’ for the Celts. :)

    Great job!!!

This could be used as a Celtic Midieval Infantry.

That's not a bad idea, Olorin0222. I might use it as exactly that ;) .

Correct. We need some Irish medieval infantry, poorly equipped and cheap. Round shield, spear, open helmet and no other armor - that's how they looked like.

Very, very cool. I love the detail on the kilt and shield :D

Is there a flickering effect in the pink background? Is that just in the preview?

Actually I think it should be the other way round. You see the firaxis gallic swordsman doesn't have this bit of anciant look to it (the helmet and armour).

You're right, of course! Either way, it's a great unit and has to go in somewhere.
