good question ozy, really not sure but I guess you could use it as either. I don't have it loaded in game, but I'd think you could set it up as a long range land based recon. Afraid the actual "how to use em" isn't really my dept

Didn't the Catalina also axct as a Anti-Submarine Warefare unit? If so, give it bombard stats of about (5.0.3), Lethal Sea bombardment, Detect Invisible, and Radar to make it an ASW plane.

The wings rocking back and forth are a nice detail that is often left out of other airplane units. Great unit!

can I ask if you're going to release some of the other planes and tanks I have seen pcitures of at CDGROUP.
This Catalina was among them, so was the Oscar.

I'm talking about the A5M Claude fighter, tanks like the Chi-Ri and some LVT.
I think you know what I'm talking about.
I also know they will be included in the SOP package but so where these intented to be. Just wondering.....

Of course hoping for a fine topmodel of the D3A Val to complement your fine Kate torpedo model.

Has anyone tested setting the unit as sea unit and giving it a low movement like 1 - 3 and giving it ability to perform air missions?

I'm just finding this beautiful unit..but after downloading it and then try to open it...I get a Corrupt message. The black version works fine!

I just re-d/l-ed both versions, opened the zips and ran some flics w/out any problems. Maybe try again?
