I think XP is where it was - the blue bar apove the mvmnt points.

I can see this circle divided into 8 pieces (in the same style as City States influence bar is divided), but it might be only aestetical, to fit new baroque interface.

It is a stargate where all the airplanes are from. And the XP is the same blue bar as before.

Isn't the ring the same as the ring from the city screen to show the progress of the hammers invested?

How did I not see that? So then I wonder what the ring is?

In city view yes, but this is a proper unit on the game map

Didn't notice this before. Not to be one of those people, but I kinda preferred the "old" way.

Don't worry, I prefer the Art Deco too, but some of the features are a nice touch

It would be cool if it changed by era. I don't think it does, but it would be cool.

I've always found playing through the early-mid game, steeped in deco visuals, to be jarringly anachronistic. An evolving UI would awesome!

And yet, you're fine with seeing Washington and Elizabeth?

Yeah, it would. So, here's what we have now:

    Rennaisance - Baroque
    Industrial - Art Deco

Do we want to have it every two eras or every era?

I suppose. All they'd have to do is add an Ancient one that could also pass for Medieval.

Pretty much. They're not incorporated into the UI for one, and the abstraction is easier to accept as the solution is so impractical. Cultivating a general sense of the march through history via stylistic elements would go a long way towards making V feel more immersive; to be treated to the Deco UI only as you reach that part of the tech tree would be amazing, imo.

If we're doing every two eras, then we'd only need classical and future

    Ancient + Classical = Graeco-Roman
    Medieval + Rennaisance = Baroque
Industrial + Modern = Art Deco
    Future = Futuristic

Hypothetically speaking, if Firaxis was on board enough with the evolving UI feature to actually implement it, I wouldn't expect them to skimp. There's really no need to make the pitch more palatable, so I'd vote for one per age.
