That's right! I'm back!:)

Sorry for vanishing a little, I had a college portfolio to make last month so things got hectic. But now for fun again!

This is Metal Gear Ray from Metal Gear Solid 2, I've wanted this unit since like, ever, so best way to get it was to make it myself. Great fun. The unit has four attacks, so you get to pick and choose a little, it's also my first biped unit, so I hope the walk looks decent.

This was the one that the Marine Corps made. Damn, the Marines are popping up everywhere in my life this week it seems.

Thanks everyone, and it's made for whatever you see fit Supa, and yes Attack D is a laser (actually a water laser, but same idea)
 
Would you mind creating old rex arsenal gear and ai version of ray?
By the way that ray is awsome but I miss his mouth atack and those move sounds dont sound like him but rest is realy cool your the man:king: :king: :king:

I've always planned to do Rex and Arsenal, in fact they're part of the reason I learned to become a unit maker. So they're on the to-do list, but being in college, the unit factory goes pretty slow.

As for Ray, uh, he does have his mouth-laser attack, so not sure what you're missing there. I searched alot for the authentic sounds, couldn't find them, so I had to make my own, but I hope they work as well anyways.

tell me about it. I was making morrowind mods for my self but all that learning and stuf slowed the proces. Do you have any idea when those 2 will be ready? Im realy looking forward to it:goodjob:

Well I have two units to do before I get to Rex, and 7 after that before Arsenal. After my portfolio is handed in at the end of this month, I'll still have classes, but it'll be a big load off my shoulders, and some unit making could be done. I expect I can have Rex done before the end of April, hopefully much earlier (but I'm off school April 20ish, so I'll have A LOT more time then and progress will be much faster). As for an ETA on Arsenal, I'd like to tell you, but that'd be similar to calculating exactly when and where the next meteor will hit the earth.:crazyeye:
 
woa so long? cant you just skip few units? how many units are on your list anyway? and what kind of units?
oh and I tryed ray again but stil it doesnt have that atack (I thought I might not pay atention) but it atacks with that wing(hand) them missile from body and finaly with missiles on its back and then all over
 
My to-do list is in my signature, sorry, the order is based on the order I recieved the requests in, so it wouldn't be fair to rearrange them.

This is from this unit's readme file:

Note: There are four attack animations, Attack A-D. Attack A must remain in the first slot (or else the fortify will look really wierd) but Attack B,C and D can be arranged as you wish, the default is Attack A, Attack B and Attack C. To change this this, simply change the letters under the "Animations" section and in the "Sound Effects" section of the ini file (make sure the changes match in each section!).

So if you want the laser attack instead of, say, the knee-missile attack (Attack B), go into the unit's INI file and under 'Animations' change Metal Gear RayAttackB.flc to Metal Gear RayAttackD.flc. Then under 'Sound Effects' change Metal Gear RayAttackB.wav to Metal Gear RayAttackD.wav
 
Thanks for the info how to change it I tryed adding fourth atack sadly its imposible I gess or maybe Im just stupid. Is it posible for one unit to have 4 atacks? or 3 are max?
 
There is a 'Defend' animation spot, right below Attack 3, I've never seen what that does, that's your best bet, if that doesn't work (and tell me if it does cause that'd be sweet), 3's the limit.
