New Unit: Radar Station

to go along with the airbase unit, here is the radar station. paradrop to places just outside your territory to get an advance warning of opposition movements.

wish they were animated but I just needed a stop gap for my mod.

cool little unit. too bad it wasn,t animated.
i am going to use it, but i,m giving it the airlift command so as i can place them pretty much any where that,s not occupied by any other civ. A defence of 0 though because the others might decide to plop a city down beside it.

i don,t use the airbase though. My planes move like they did in civ II. With the auto feature ticked.
 
How do you use the airbase and radar station.
Could someone run through the unit setting!
 
dont neade it anymore, have got ptw world there you can build them whit your worker
 
... Well, now that we have ANOTHER agonizingly revived thread, I have a real question (as opposed to a surreal question :crazyeye: )

A number of units were developed, like this one, with MF=0 and airdrop capacity. I seem to recall a firebase; etc.

My question is -- has anyone had any experience with the AI utilizing units which use this approach with any success?
