New Units and Random Events!! Is This a Mod??

I was surfing the screenshots (for BTS) section of the forum, and I found this:

What are and how do you get those units behind the picture, the ones that look like some high future-tech mechs/walking tanks? they look AWSOME! How can this event happen? I've never seen it.

I think - because i never cared to play something else than the 'normal' game - this is the "Next War"-Mod/Scenatio that comes with bts.

Look into "Beyond The Sword Content" or "Play Scenario" in the BTS start menu.

As for the Event - again i think - if a certain number of nukes is launched in the said next (and then last ) war, this just happens. Dont know the number tho.

Yes it is "Next War", however I also do not know how many nukes it takes for that to happen.

Ya, it's "Next War" and the number of nukes launched to make the Earth crack like an egg is 20. Try out JKP1187's NOT JUST ANOTHER NEXTWAR MOD for BTS, I've been having a lot of fun with this one.

Why's that even there? Don't the AI keep track of how many nukes have been launched and if it's 19 they won't launch another??
